Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA)

was constituted under the statutory provision of Bihar Industrial Area Development Act 1974 with a mission to promote and assist industrialisation and provide, create awareness about the Industrial Policy of state as well as creating environment for consistent future growth of Industries in the state of Bihar.

VISION STATEMENT: BIADA resolves to develop modern environmental friendly, and futuristic infrastructure for industry & industrial use through the following strategies. Medium and Long term futuristic planning. Cost effective quality and time bound approach for project implementation. Contemporary scientific system and procedures. Public-Private Partnership. User friendly approach. Quality Services. Fiscal and financial discipline. Transparency in transactions and dealings.

OBJECTIVES: To promote and develop infrastructure for industries in the industrial area such as road, drainage, water, power. To help, support entrepreneurs to setup industries and provide assistance, incentives under the industrial policy of the state. To provide information of central Govt. to motivate entrepreneurs to setup industries in the state. To implement central and govt. sponsored industrial growth centre scheme projects. To promote and assist farmers, exporters to export Agri-Product such as fruits and vegetable under the Agri-Export-Zone scheme of APEDA, Dept. of commerce and industries, Govt. of India.
